December Thoughts

DECEMBER 2024

PERFECT ISN’T REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL, ONLY PROGESS IS

Let go of the pressure to do it all perfectly, and focus on what truly matters- in business and family.

This December, I am trying to embrace the process of getting organized. With the busy holiday seasons approaching, I know that my time in the office will be limited between school vacations, family gatherings, and the general hustle and bustle of the season. I’m trying to be intentional about how I use my time, prioritizing tasks that move the needle while still allowing space to enjoy the moments that matter most.

This means planning ahead, setting boundaries and focusing on systems that keep things running smoothly, even when I’m away from my desk. It’s a balancing act but it is important for me to show up for my family during this special time of year without letting my business fall by the wayside.

This is a reminder to give yourself grace, let go of the pressure to do it all perfectly, and focus on what truly matters—both in your work and at home. The holidays are a time to connect, recharge, and reflect, and I’m committed to finding that balance, even in the busiest of seasons.

This season is also an opportunity to remind ourselves that balance doesn’t mean doing everything—it means doing what feels right for you. Some days will feel chaotic, and that’s okay. What matters is having the tools to help you prioritize your tasks and make the most of your time. A structured plan, like using a time section tracker, can help you manage your responsibilities without feeling overwhelmed. By focusing on what truly needs your attention, you can create space for both productivity and the moments that matter most. Letting go of the need to “do it all” and leaning into tools that support your goals opens the door to greater clarity, joy, and fulfillment—so you can end the year feeling aligned and at peace.
